Can you see my face at the window?
I am watching you, all of you
So busy building your snowmen.
Tonight I will sneak outside with a
Baseball bat and knock them over.
Then I will brush away my footprints.
No one will know it was me.
Everyone is so dumb – no one knows
I have developed supernatural powers.
I can hear my mom when she goes into
The bathroom to cry. Even with the
Water running.
I am a creature of the night like Batman.
I will swoop up and down the street knocking
Everything over that is in my way. Then
Everyone will know how strong I really am.
Maybe tonight I can make it rain. Then all
the snow will turn to slush. And all the
stupid snowmen will melt and float away
down into the sewer.
