Chargesheet in Delhi gangrape case

The 1000-page charge sheet in the Delhi gangrape case will be filed before a fast-track court in Saket on Friday (January 3). Delhi police sources say an e-chargesheet will be filed in order to maintain secrecy of content and expedite the trial. All the six accused in the case have been booked for dacoity, gangrape, murder and destruction of evidence. Sources added that the prosecution is reportedly pleading for a death penalty in the case. Meanwhile protests continue in the national capital with protesters terming today as black day to express their solidarity towards rape victims across the country fighting for justice.
