Is this the way it goes

Who would have thought you
I’d give everything for you
I’d rip my heart out for you
Hide from everything for you
Life makes no sense now

My head spins in this love
But yet love is endless to the heart
Love is not conditional
That’s why I can never stop loving
Loving you for you and nothing else

Pain hits the fingers now
My head is spinning with questions
My heart wants to speak to me
But I don’t listen to it right now
Maybe it’s because I’m lost

No that’s not it….

I feel you and your touch
The thought of you is priceless
My heart wants to sing
But only when it hears you
So why won’t I listen to it

Afraid maybe or worried
Worried about what it will say
Say about you and me
My heart is not meant for this
Please save me from this feeling

My heart is slowly slipping away
I want to listen but can’t
It speaks so softly to me
But only when I’m with you
Yet I choose not to listen

I trust fate now

Or is it my mind taken over

Please someone just direct me

Maybe one day I’ll be able to see this
Hear my heart again and be free
Only time will tell now
Sometimes I wish I could just lay with you
Never to have to think again

Everything goes away with you
That’s the best part about you
My heart is happy and not in pain
I love you with all my heart and always will
