I listen speechless
The truth revealed
bombards my senses
I feel sick
Little earthquakes start from deep within
I tremble violently
No tears
None left
But the buzzing in my ears
Memories flood my mind
Numbing me
My eyes close
Your face just a silhouette
against the glaring cruel light
Adrenalin shoots a tsunami
through my veins
My eyes snap open
My mouth agape
The pain sharp and breathtaking
My heart contracts
It's anguish pouring
out from my eyes
My body doubled over
Still, no sound I utter
Mute...
