Changes to Ecuador Constitution under consideration

Important changes are being considered to Ecuador's Constitution. National Assembly representatives from the ruling Pais Alliance submitted 17 amendments to the 2008 constitution, of which 16 are currently being debated. The aim is to expand citizens rights while taking into account government development goals. One of the amendments would allow politicians to be re-elected more than once, which opens the door for another term for current president Rafael Correa. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito. teleSUR
