Chan, David believe Gilas could win

Gilas Pilipinas faces a tall task in the FIBA World Cup as it will battle powerhouse teams beginning with the Karl-Anthony Towns-led Dominican Republic on August 25 at the Philippine Arena.

Former Gilas standouts Jeff Chan and Gary David, though, believe that the Philippine basketball team could pull off a surprise.

Playing with heart and a home crowd rallying behind the Gilas boys, Chan and David said that the Filipino dribblers have a rather good chance of winning.
