'Chalo assembly' protest, normal life hit in HYD

NewsX: Demand for separate Telangana is back in the reckoning.

Normal life is likely to be affected in parts of Hyderabad, as the Telangana Joint Action Committee, which comprises Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other political and non political groups, has called for 'Chalo assembly' protest.

Police have also stepped up security around the assembly building along with imposing prohibitory order banning meetings and rallies.

As many as 58 check posts have been erected in Cyberabad and 17 in Hyderabad to prevent entry of people from surrounding districts to participate in the march.
