'Challenge TMC, will gouge out eyes'

Striking a controversy, Trinamool Congress MP and Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee has publicly threatened to "gouge out eyes and chop off hands" of those who dare to challenge the TMC administration. Addressing a party event in Basirhat town of the North 24 Parganas district, Abhishek said that, "while most political parties have taken safe shelter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, TMC continues to fight them tooth and nail. If they hurt TMC people, we won't spare them," "If anyone dares to glare at TMC people, we will gouge their eyes out and throw them on the road. If they raise their hands, we will cut their arms off," Abhishek added.
