Chai Amos - The Dry Land

The land is totally dry,
With water only from taps to cry,
It's purely bare with shrubs metres away,
Yet the men have chosen to flesh of knowledge slay.

The results of this dawn are outstanding,
As their minds swell with great understanding,
Being new to the land, my neighbor is a news broadcator,
A former employee the single media house before ouster,

Great authors have emerged from these isolated areas,
Their prowess have they cast to the far east with cheers,
The offices are occupied by the light-aired natives,
And all this is for good motives.

The cattle owners have made development in knowledge seeking,
They've set institutions everywhere, and learners are keeping,
The future of the land isn't to be the same,
Any thought of discrimination I pray you tame.
