It’s like someone stuck an NES cartridge in your lightning port. Downwell is a retro-styled shooter with a self-explanatory objective—fall down the well. Of course, that’s easier said than done thanks to an assortment on subterranean monsters, but fortunately, you are wearing weaponized boots. If you’re not sold on “weaponized boots,” then clearly, there is no pleasing you. As you fall, you blast enemies with your shoes. And that’s awesome. The game also features tons of power-ups and items that keep the gameplay fresh and entertaining.
