CES 2012 Interview: Rev Up Your Machine with Seagate's Momentus XT

When it comes to the performance of a computer, there are many factors involved in the overall performance of the machine rather its through gaming, video editing, etc. One of the most important components often overlooked, the hard drive/s, plays a larger role in the overall performance than many believe. Because of this, having a hard drive that is able to deliver blazing read and write speeds is essential in a smooth computing experience.

During the week of CES 2012, we had the opportunity to check out the wide range of products Seagate was showing off including their second generation of the Momentus XT product line. Seagate's latest and greatest offering on the hybrid drive front, aims to offer gamers with a more seamless gaming experience including faster load times and an overall smoother gaming experience. I had the opportunity to meet Joni Clark, Product Marketing Manager at Seagate, to discuss the second generation of the Momentus XT product line and provide the audience with an in-depth explanation of how the technology works.
