Cena Rose - Fragile

I saw a word today.

Fragile.

And I thought how similar that word was to me.

Yet no one knows how fragile I may be,

the wind could push me over with a strong gust

and I would end.

Thankfully.

So fragile is my hunger, as I look at the food and say no.

So fragile is my skin as I tear it with my knife.

So fragile are my lungs, as I hold my breath under the current.

So fragile is my heart, as I hide my emotions and smile.

So fragile is my body, as I torment it with my knowledge.

So fragile is my life, as I try to end it.

So fragile is my soul, as I know I do not embrace it.

So fragile is my trust, that no one will ever read this.

So Fragile.

And yet death does not knock on my door.
