You know what puzzles me more than anything else?
The fuckery that Christians hurl
At people
Damning
Condemning
Cursing
And then gently washing it all off
With a loofah
Mmm soothing, moisturizing body wash and
Clothing in pure white
Gracefully
Ascending the steps to the pulpit
Supposedly practicing for heaven
I’ve heard the trumpet sound
And it says
Be humble
It says be happy
Be kind to all
Be loving
And treat all, the way you wish to be treated
The trumpet I heard has no angels with halos
It sang of freedom
Ultimate completeness, union with the creator
The trumpet echoed praises of thanksgiving
Adoration and happiness
The trumpet never had sentiments of sin
Non of hypocrisy, the epidemic
Which we all now suffer from.
