Yes the night is desperate
but what did you expect
its looking for connections
and you leave nothing to connect

now cold and barely moving
in hearts as stiff as steel
that lived within a fortunes dream
but the fortune was not real

maybe there is an answer
that maybe I cant see
but like a human cornered
you fight, or stay or leave

there is no magic kingdom
there are no king and queens
there was only you and I
and all thats in between
