Life is not given to you
For the sake only of thyself.
There are others to come
Who will need your presence
For you are more than a memory.
Your information and strategy
To perfect that which is given
Not even for them only
But for those to come after.

Think not how you may have fallen
But the many times you've gotten up.
This in itself is a gift
Given not to everyone.
Neither are many given strength
But they are given knowledge
To be patient and to endure.
Pass this irreplacable knowledge on
Which has only been given you
For it is the key to everlasting.
