Cebuano wins first Prisaa gold

Cebuano runner defends title, wins first gold in 2025 PRISAA Games

Mark Mahinay of University of Cebu (main campus) clinched the first gold of the 2025 PRISAA Games after dominating the 5000-meter men’s race event at the Cagayan Sports Complex in Tuguegarao City on Monday, April 7.

Mahinay said that it was his goal to defend the title.

The 23-year-old runner also shared that the humidity was a challenge.
