Cebu, MTD Philippines Inc. partner for infrastructure project

The Cebu provincial government formalizes a partnership with MTD Philippines Inc. on May 19, 2026, in a signing ceremony attended by Malaysian Ambassador Dato Abdul Malik and Melvin Castelino for an infrastructure and economic expansion project in Balili, Naga and will proceed to a feasibility and master planning phase under the agreement, according to MTD Philippines Inc. president and CEO Patrick Nicholas David. Gov. Pamela Baricuatro led the signing for Cebu.
