CBI seeks suo-motu powers for efficiency
Description
The Lokpal Bill in its present form has not gone down well with the CBI. Officials feel the autonomy of investigation has been "seriously compromised". The agency has opposed the bid to take away supervisory powers and seeked suo-motu powers for efficiency.
