Good conversation is hard to find and anyway
everything has already been said, so we'll just
exploit what the smart people discard and eat
midnight: thirty milk and fudge while it dawns on us that
there's nothing more to be gained here.
most people tend to be pretty crude and the
'whatnots' seem to carry the speeches, which leads to-

I've been waltzing partnerless in this empty studio, banging
my crown against those bars in the window and groping the air
for something to hold onto nice and strong until I wake
