Funny the pictures and dreams that once surrounded you,
The ones that use to define you,
They now seem so shattered and in the past.

The ones that you miss ever so dearly,
Yet wouldn't want to revisit,
The dreams change you,
Make you better.

Well reality is,
The past is the past,
Though some things may hurt,
It's all for the better,
Though things may change,
Nothing is ever really set in stone,
Not until the day you die.

The truth is,
You're not supposed to know what tomorrow holds,
Only that it could be your last.
