Cartonning for peace_Cécile Bertrand & Objectif 3D

"L'hérault trait libre" Festival co-organized by the Hérault's General Council, the Montpellier's Press Club and the Cartooning for peace association (chaired by Kofi Annan, United Nations' former secretary and Plantu, illustrator at "the Monde".)
The first edition of the festial gathered a dozen of the most famous illustrators from around the world.
It quickly became a major meeting to discuss and debate about the voice and the responsibility of press illustrators and people's freedom.
In 2014 Objectif 3D students participated for the second time to the event "Cartonning for peace / L'hérault trait libre", creating animations based on press illustrations. From the drawings, students imagined the scenario of a short story. The final picture and the conclusion of the animation beeing the drawing of the illustrator.
From pre-prod to production to final result, students entirely realized these films.

The goal of the exercice is to respect the illustrator's graphic universe.
The sound was made in partnership with the school ACFA multimedia.
