To help maintain maritime security in the Persian Gulf, the US Navy engages local fishermen working in dhows. The Navy finds out what they are doing and lets them know there is a coalition military presence in the Gulf. This is an extended version of a sequence featured in hour five, "Show of Force," of the PBS series CARRIER, which follows a core group of participants aboard the USS Nimitz, from the elite fighter pilots to the youngest sailors and everyone in between, as they navigate personal conflicts around their jobs, families, faith, patriotism, love and the war on terror.
