Description

Empty wind echoes empty words that were said without a thought that lie dying on the snow. For they can only thrive in a willing heart, who will hear and believe but not know their empty meaning? Empty trees rustle the memory of long forgotten leaves our words are spoken echoing yesterday’s careless ease that will remain forever in our minds. Are we the hollow echoing men? Are we but puppets on a string?

Can’ t we see our empty lives open up and swallow everything we’ve done. The snow will come and bury us, and then will melt in the Spring are we to be lost in a whispered hush or shall we rejuvenate our lives again that we may ride the tidal waves our stormy lives have stirred. So now the sun is setting painting shadows on the trees and now we’ll walk beneath them and gather all their leaves. We’ll put them one by one into their empty hands. Then look back upon there fullness and restore ourselves to beauty in the dying of the day.
