We are a band based in Randburg, Johannesburg. There exists a wide variety of influanses including Folk, Blues, Jazz and Rock. Our sound is interfused with a combination of melodic and rhythmic guitars and vocals. The lyrics are shaped and sculpted by previous experiences and a hiden truth between love and hate. A hint of promiscuity and puns are shaped with raw intentional purpose.

The philosophy behind Carri Wolfe is an old Native American folklore, where a young boy asks his father about his conflict inside. His father's response was this "Within each person there are 2 wolves, one that fights for balance, kindness, love, peace and all good emotions. The other fights for anger and hate, the seven deadly sins and all destuctive emotions" He asked his father the question of which wolf would be the victor, his father replied "The one you feed". So in essence, we carry our wolves. Our lead vocalist is also called Carri, thus Carri Wolfe.

Our motivation is to connect with our audoence to give them the freedom to feel what they need to feel, and to be as they are, by means of "Beautiful melodies telling (them) terrible things"- Tom Waits.
