Carousel Greeting Card

There are many greeting cards around that have some kind of mechanism built into them. We would generally call them examples of paper engineering. And this card has to be one of the most amazing examples we have come across.

It packs flat, in a large envelope, but when you hold it up it you discover that it becomes a three dimensional carousel, or roundabout.

That in itself would be quite impressive, but this carousel is powered! Wind up the elastic band motor underneath, and the carousel spins around in a quite charming way.
