Carolyn Vuletic - Myself the Hermit

I have crawled into myself this week
refusing to take calls, or go outside
My bedroom is all I know
I listen to Elvis playing on repeat on my stereo
an odd choice for a young lass
I think of all the money i have saved by staying in bed
and all the hangovers I've lost out on.
daytime TV becomes my new best friend, and we laugh together at silly infomercials and cheesy soaps.
Some people would say I'm depressed
I just think this is my way of detoxing and getting familiar with my surroundings.
I think I'll do this more often.
