Carol Blackburn - War
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
When Cain slayed Abel there was war on his mind
The rage for control of people and land is still going on
and will until this world no longer stands.
War has caused countless deaths in our nation.
Thousands have been wounded,
Some have lost legs, arms, and hands and given their all to protect the freedom
of our land.
They fought for their country to keep it safe so our loved ones
could have freedom other countries tried to take
Most would say they would do it again,
knowing war had cost them family and friends.
The Declaration of Independence say's the United States is free
no other country has rights such as these/
We should always remember and never forget the price
that was paid for the freedom we get.
