Carney: 'Inflation will be kept under control'
Description
The Bank of England has raised the interest rate from 0.5% to 0.75%, the highest level since 2009. The Bank's Governor Mark Carney said that this was "the right decision for the economy given the track that it's on". Mr Carney stressed that "inflation will be kept under control" as it "hurts the least well-off the most". Report by Jonesia.
