Carissa Thiessen - Almighty One

Its been a year since I said Goodbye
Goodbye to a life that was hurting me
A life that was nothing but destructive

I look back to who I used to be
I am ashamed of myself
Ashamed of all the people I hurt

I was so stupid and naive
Every choice I made was wrong
Yet I still chose to make them

I look back to who I used to be
I am thankful that I have changed
I owe it to the Almighty one

You see, He saved me
He made it known that he cared
He loved me and would never let me go

I came back to him with hesitation
I was so afraid that I wasn't worthy
And I would just be thrown aside

He was waiting for me
with open arms, calling my name
Come to me my special child

He has shown me the way
He has shown Grace and Mercy
Forgiveness and Peace

Who is this Almighty one you ask
He is the Father above
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit

He is calling you too
You are his special child
No one is out of reach for the Almighty.
