CARATAL RC PROTEST

First day of the new school term and parents whose children attend Caratal Sacred Heart RC School have kept them away, due to poor road conditions.

Supported by teachers, the parents and students protested at the site of a major landslip along the route to the school.

They tell reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh that the government needs to step in and fix the road and they are prepared to keep their children at home until something is done.
