Description
There has been a 15.5 percent increase in the number of cars sold in Israel since the beginning of the year the Israel Vehicle Importers Association said. In July alone a total of 19,802 cars were sold in Israel. If the current trend continues experts believe the market sales by the end of the year could reach an estimated 240,000 cars. Approximately 20,000 more than the number sold in 2010. Hyundai is in the lead with a total of 3087 cars delivered to Israel in the past month, followed by Mazda which sold 2389 cars in July. Toyota sold 1650 cars and Chevrolet 1281. Audi continued to be the preferred choice of cars in the luxury models with a total of 151 being sold in July followed by Mercedes which sold 80 cars and BMW which sold 71.
