Car Flips In Car Crash

Occurred on January 19, 2023 / Homestead, Pennsylvania, USA

: "A bit after 7 pm I was driving home from work, feeling drained and cold, while listening to a podcast. Right after getting through the East Waterfront Dr intersection, I see a car in the oncoming lane start to make a wide U-Turn. Immediately thought to myself 'Wow, they're probably going to plow into someone' and made sure to watch them and see if I would need to slow down. Car in front of me either didn't notice or decided that they needed to speed up to try and get past them. Either way, the U-Turning car hit the car in front of me on the passenger side, causing the car in front of me to flip, land on its roof, then roll and rest on its wheels. My first thought afterward was 'Well, yeah. That's more or less what I expected'. Was probably a little stunned. An ambulance or fire truck showed up in less than 5 minutes, at which point I left. Later on, when I realized I recorded everything, I called the non-emergency number for the police and offered to send them the recording, though I never heard back. Never saw any mention of the crash in the news, so I assumed that no one was seriously hurt."
