What can i do to make you proud
I cant even ask this to you aloud
What would you say i wonder
Day by day

Im making something of my life
So i don’t have to live in such strife
I get invites to ceremonies awards and prizes
But all that happens is my anger rises

I try my hardest to make you care
I don’t fight take drugs or swear
You always put me down like im not good enough
I think i’d have broke down if i wasn’t this tough

Im so close to fulfilling my dream
Im in the best and most talented team
Its still not enough as ever
Im thinking of ending this, however
Ive worked hard, and got myself this far
Ive had many injuries but one perment scar

It lies on my heart
Where your love used to be
It has no beginging no ending no start
But i don’t deserve it even though
Im sporty, clean and smart

I want to tell you i feel this way
I shouldn’t be second best or treated like a stray
We were in the car on the way back fron training
My brother wanted to stop at burger king
But no you said Chloe cant have some
Shes a sports woman, and i thought on well thanks mum

But then my mum said something I thought was a riot,
He said 'Hey, maybe you should go on a diet'.
So I started eating foods that were no fun,
Every other day, I'd even run!
Just to try to make you proud
And i will, i have now vowed
