Candles/Wishes

I knew I wanted to go to this champagne bar for my 40th birthday before my 39th. Sometime after that, I knew the footage would be beautiful behind Bill Mohr's Ginsbergesque "Candles/Wishes." Sometime after that, my birthday finally came, and then I asked Bill if he would mind if I put together a little poetry video with his words. Not exactly scripted, the footage is sublime with certain lines. More collision than collaboration, this makes a music all its own. Many thanks to Bill Mohr for his permission to play, and to Mohamed, who made sure I had just the birthday I wanted.
