Candida is a kind of fungus that lives in all of us. Though harmless most times, it can cause infections with a myriad of symptoms. It usually resides in the gastrointestinal tract, genitals, mouth and throat. When this yeast proliferates, it causes a host of illnesses which usually goes unnoticed.
