Candice Renae Williams - Red Tears

A red tear fades down her cheek
slithering shadows where lies once reek
to fall down onto the tip
and crash to the floor.
One red tear left no trace-nor rip
upon scar'd face of pore-
for blood washes tell-tell fear,
whil'st the crimson slid truth- skin clear.
