Cancer shock for John McCain

The 80-year-old lawmaker had been recovering at home following surgery to remove a blood clot from above his eye. Tests since that procedure have revealed a tumour associated with the clot.
McCain is a former Navy pilot and was re-elected to a sixth Senate term in November.
