Canada seeks suspect in murder case
Description
Canadian police named a suspect in a gruesome murder case involving a dismembered torso and mailed-out body parts.
A package containing a human foot was sent to the Conservative Party headquarters in Ottawa.
A party spokesman said it was horrifying.

"The odor coming from the package was just horrible and I'm sure many of us will never forget it."
Later, another package containing a hand was intercepted at the postal depot, addressed to the Liberal Party.
Montreal police released a photograph of the suspect they said is Luka Rocco Magnotta, and asked people across Canada to help locate him.
He is also known as Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov.
Police said the suspect and the unknown victim knew each other, but offered no details.

"What we know about the suspect--he's not known by police services, he knew the victim. This is what we believe from information discovered at the crime scene."
The police also searched an apartment at an undisclosed Montreal location.
Canadian media reported that a headless torso was found in a suitcase on a pile of garbage outside the apartment.
