Can Snake Hypnotize?

Snake cannot hypnotize. It's a myth. Snake are masters of stealth so they can go extremely close to a prey and attack them and the prey won't even realize the snake was there. Snakes are amazing at camouflage so they hide their presence so well that animals who have the best smelling capabilities cannot spot them.

People have observed this behavior and thought that the animals is probably hypnotized because they don't move even when the snake is near them but that's the myth. It happens because the animal is unable to detect the presence of the snake.

Along with that fear triggers flight and fight response which can lead to two types of behavior either the animal will not move from the place or the animal will flea immediately. People probably observed those animals that didn't move because of fear and thought the snake has hypnotized them which is ofcourse not the truth.
