Can renting a boyfriend cure depression?

At first there was Tinder, but just as India had almost settled into the idea of meeting potential romantic partners online, there’s this new app doing the rounds called rent-a-boyfriend. So, if you are in Mumbai, this app allows you to rent-a-boyfriend to, wait for it, cure your depression. Really?! The founder of this unusual and pretentiously named app is 29-year-old Kaushal Prakash. His entire marketing pitch is based on ‘lonely’ women hiring boyfriends to supposedly cure “depression”.
