Can Marcus Smart handle full time point guard role?

Marcus Smart posted three turnovers in each of the Celtics preseason games as he assumes the lead point guard responsibility full time for the first time since 2015. Throughout his career he's had Isaiah Thomas, Kemba Walker and Kyrie Irving leading the starting unit. The starters lacked flow and never produced a quality run throughout Boston's blowout preseason loss to the Nets on Saturday. The Garden Report discussed his role going forward and performance so far.
