Camacy Melville - Directions please?

New York City 2005,
we still think it's weird to see a black and white become husbands and wives

An interacial marrige, may of been love at first sight
But to some of us, black should stick to black and white to white

When black and white have kids with different shades of skin
Do they think about the trouble they're putting their kids in?

The kids don't know where they're going or who they are
whether they'll be the ones driving or cleaning the big fancy car

They'll ask their parents'Am I black or am I white? '
They'll look at each other, then at the child and say that they're just right

The child may then sit and cry and question themself the same question until the day they die
