Calls for mandatory first aid training for learner drivers

Every learner driver could be made to complete first aid training before getting behind the wheel - under a plan being pushed by the Senior Australian of the Year. Val Dempsey's campaign has the support of driving instructors, but governments are yet to commit to the reforms.
