Callaway claims in robot testing the new XR 7-iron travels up to 12 yards further than last year's X2 Hot 7-iron.

The latest feature of the Callaway XR iron - a direct replacement for last year's X2 Hot iron - is Cup 360, something also replicated in the new Big Bertha iron. This improved Cup 360 gives added spring on shots played low off the face of the club, whilst also increasing ball speeds from all angles of the club.
