1 Views • Mar 07, 2019
Description
During the three-day high-level summit on March 5-7, scientists, governments and business experts discussed international marine issues, including waste management, illegal fishing and many other threats to the planet’s oceans.
They also debated ways to collaborate in the building of sustainable ocean economies.
At the sixth edition of the annual event, a new Blue Prosperity Coalition was announced. The global network of government partners and ocean experts will aim to protect oceans while growing marine economies.
