Calisthenics Move Goes Wrong After Fail

A routine training session at the gym turned into a frightening moment when a calisthenics progression went wrong mid-move.
The video, filmed by a friend of Leah Allen from Lower Clapton, UK shows Leah training on parallettes as she transitions from a frog pose into a shoulder stand.
She successfully hits the position, but moments later over-rotates, sending her legs tipping too far forward.
Realizing she’s about to fall, Leah instinctively lets go to protect her face, landing flat on her back instead.
The impact is sudden and shocking, and for a brief moment she fears she may have seriously injured herself.
Thankfully, she was okay afterward, though left very sore for several days and with a new fear unlocked.
The clip was shared on Instagram, where one user commented: “Dammm respect!!! I fell out a handstand on the high bars landed on my stomach!! had my feet dangling like a lil kid”
