Description

Man musts know his defeat, and within reason think
Of a path home. An exaggerated memory shall pave a
Road of crusted, craggy and dark concrete, where gulls with
Lovely feathered wings, Leave ashes along foamy riverbeds.
But come life there will be dreams, throughout the path
I dream, for all I have is hope. I hope to see her again.
A guiding illustrious star in the sky, to mirror death
On the path home. Of course, death comes along
In subtle storms of playful gods, sending twine
To price how much we can dream. So treadmill
The path and constant travel-unravel the
Sun and stars and find your time well.

So I keep walking this path,
And I have miles to go yet,
Miles on this path home.
I know that when I reach the end,
We will find the world to be a broken bone,
But take our dreams, let's call it home.
