The sky is full of death
Chances of survival one in one hundred
As you live, you may be breathing your last breathe,

You thought as a boy it was a simple game
A fun game that didn't have a name
If you were shot, you would just come back
It didn't matter, if you were white or black

Your friends dying left and right
You have no family to surround you during the night
Half the nation is protesting against what you fight for
Screaming 'We don't need another sadistic war! '
Memories created just won’t go away
For you as the soldier is the one who always seems to pay

You fight for freedom
You fight for rights
You fight for revenge
In these luminicient lights

Later down the road
you live by this code
They're playing war
And you can't take it any more!
You turn you head trying not to cry.
Thinking why do innocent deserve to die
