Description

A calanque is a narrow, steep-walled inlet that is developed in limestone, dolomite, or other carbonate strata and found along the Mediterranean coast. The best known examples can be found in the Massif des Calanques along the coast between Marseille and Cassis in France.
This area is a national park which is incredibly close to the urban metropolis of Marseille, the second largest city of France.
This film features the beautiful Calanque at Marseille in all it's tilt-shifted glory.
A tilt-shift time-lapse film by Joerg Daiber.
