Calah Unknown - Cut

What kind?
How Deep?
Just a scratch, or does it bleed...
How did you get it?
Did it cut like a knife
chopping away, sucking out life
can't stop the bleeding, no matter how hard you try
making you scream, making you cry
trying a band-aid, trying a patch
just keeps on bleeding; not just a scratch.
This cut goes much deeper, down into your heart
can't stop the hurt, it's tearing you apart.
When it heals over, the pain will subside
there's no sense in trying to hide
the blame you've brought upon yourself
this cut goes too deep to place on a shelf.
